Heidi’s aim is to motivate audiences to participate, share and talk about the content Matte PR creates. Her strategic approach to public relations is what continues to drive her team’s success.
Heidi studied communications at the University of Malta, specializing in film and journalism. She is a mentor with Toronto Fashion Incubator and sits on the following advisory councils: Ryerson School of Fashion and Italian Chamber of Commerce of Ontario. She’s an active member of Fashion Group International. Her career in public relations began with an intensive mentorship by industry maven Nina Budman.
Ellyssa is skilled in the art of communications, holding a Commerce degree from University of Guelph with a major in marketing. Integrated communication planning, content creation and strategic media relations are all a part of her professional repertoire. Our roster of diverse clients requires her to be a nimble storyteller with the ability to generate newsworthy stories and PR campaigns for a range of channels. Ellyssa manages client accounts in a number of categories including fashion, lifestyle, food & beverage and tech where she uses her attention to detail and eye for design to power her team’s success.
Emily has a wealth of experience creating content for fashion clients. Graduating from London College of Fashion with a degree in Fashion Journalism, she has since worked for brands and publications both in the UK and Canada. Her knowledge of the industry and ability to create engaging content has led her to work with a variety of commercial and creative brands including Dazed & Confused, Amazon Fashion, Marshalls and ELLE Canada. Emily uses her endlessly creative eye and strong organization skills to deliver eye-catching content that delivers results. Currently, she’s at the helm of content creation and web design for artisan fine jewelry brand, Hania Kuzbari Jewelry.
