The Eglinton Way BIA clicks with Matte PR for website refresh
TORONTO, May 11, 2016: Matte PR announces the addition of a new client to its roster, The Eglinton Way BIA. Matte PR will spearhead the digital project to create and launch the BIA’s new website, with plans to showcase the area as one of Toronto’s top destinations for shopping and professional services.
“The Eglinton Way Board of Management chose Matte PR for their experience in the retail and lifestyle realms, and for their previous experience working with BIAs. They have an in-depth understanding of the challenges that face BIAs in terms of construction, changing consumer habits, and evolving shopping trends,” says Sheliza Esmail, Administrator, The Eglinton Way BIA.
Located just north of Toronto’s exclusive Forest Hill neighborhood, The Eglinton Way is a pedestrian friendly thoroughfare with a unique collection of boutiques, cafes, restaurants, salons and health and fitness services. It is home to the beloved landmark and historical event venue, The Eglinton Grand, an exquisite example of art deco architecture.
“The Eglinton Way is undergoing a transformation yet remains a charming, upscale, and walkable destination,” says Heidi Ruggier, Director, Matte PR. “Our work will communicate the area’s authentic feel of old and new Toronto through creating a visually engaging and intuitive website for locals and visitors to peruse. Story telling will be at the centre of our approach to this project.”
The selection of Matte PR followed an RFP process. The agency is also working with luxury & lifestyle brands such as Hillcrest Mall, Sassoon Salon & Academy, Engel & Völkers Canada and the Italian Chamber of Commerce of Ontario.
