Matte PR Supports TIFF’s For The Love of Film Fund with a Seat Dedication

At Matte PR, we are excited to announce our support for TIFF’s For The Love of Film Fund by dedicating a chair at the TIFF Lightbox, inside The Paul & Leah Atkinson Family Cinema. For the next decade, you can find us at Seat C3 in Cinema 4.

This initiative is part of Matte PR’s give-back pledge, THE DEAL, which commits 3% of our annual revenue to meaningful local and global causes. We believe in leveraging our success to make a positive impact, and this dedication is a testament to that commitment.

Our CEO and founder, Heidi Ruggier, recently visited the cinema to see our seat for the first time during a screening of the iconic film Bound by The Wachowskis. This film, which predates their most famous work, The Matrix, captures the innovative and transformative spirit we celebrate at Matte PR.

Film is one of the most powerful mediums for conveying meaningful messages to the world. Our donation will help reimagine the communal film experience for audiences, invest in TIFF’s future sustainability, ensure ongoing support for emerging Canadian talent and project development, and champion diversity and inclusion in film and filmmaking.
