Toronto Fashion Incubator to host holiday popup from November 9 – 10
The non-profit organization’s Yorkville Village pop-up shop will feature 14 Canadian designers
Toronto Fashion Incubator (TFI), the world’s first fashion incubator, is hosting a holiday pop-up for the gift shopping season at Yorkville Village Shopping Centre from November 9 to 10, 2023, between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Located on the Upper Level, in the ‘Oval’, 14 Canadian apparel, jewellery and accessory designers will be available to shop during the pop-up.

This initiative was created by TFI’s executive director Susan Langdon to provide a space for Canadian designers to boost sales during the holiday shopping season. Alongside the traditional shopping experience, visitors will also be able to attend Meet The Maker demos, browse a silent auction and have the opportunity to win an indulgent gift basket valued at $125.00.

TFI’s holiday pop-up will feature a range of ready-to-wear collections from AdamXAtelier, Amanda Maria, Go Team Light, Ijele, RE by Lisa Tse, Shaghayegh Tafreshi Design and Taline. The Canadian design marketplace will also showcase jewellery collections from Alan Anderson, Ever and Ivy, and Rita Tesolin, accessories from Anavi, Enya Mond and Shisako, and sleepwear and accessories from Soft Stroke Silks.

“TFI is so excited to present a thoughtfully selected assortment of Canadian brands for our upcoming holiday pop-up. This shopping initiative was created to give support to our Canadian fashion designers, providing them with a physical platform to showcase their work and drive sales for the holidays,” says Susan Langdon, executive director, Toronto Fashion Incubator. “The net proceeds from the silent auction will help to support TFI and the Canadian fashion industry, helping to further support our local fashion entrepreneurs in launching and growing their businesses.“
