Hailing from Montréal, Haja is forging a path into the industry, and conquering Toronto one media pitch at a time.
What made you pursue a career in public relations?
Writing. I have always loved the fact that you can create rhythm in text about a topic with relevant facts.
What project are you most proud of?
I was the communications lead for one of the most creative art festivals and agencies in Montréal. Sending gratitude to the whole team at MASSIVart!
Why did you choose Matte PR?
I like that Matte PR works with a roster of lifestyle clients including art, fashion and food. It’s one of the best places to feel the heartbeat of Toronto right now.
Who inspires you these days?
My dad. He immigrated from Madagascar which meant passing through strong storms. As each day goes by, I better understand and appreciate the choices and sacrifices he made.
Describe your approach to PR in one word?
Flow.

Moving to Toronto from Montréal.

Autumn. I love jackets, boots and scarves. So many textures and vibes in one outfit!
