Matte PR Volunteered at WoodGreen Community Services
On December 6, Matte PR volunteered at WoodGreen Community Services, one of Toronto’s largest social service agencies. Each year for 85 years, WoodGreen has been serving 37,000 people with integrated programs that work to reduce poverty and improve community health. We assisted the team by helping them organize boxes and bags from food trucks and hand out food to their clients during the lunch service.
Matte PR helped pack over 100 care packages, a record for WoodGreen. Since the pandemic, their weekly food bank demand has increased and continues to do so. This marked the agency’s first (but not last) time volunteering at WoodGreen.
