Making a difference: Matte PR volunteers with WoodGreen

Matte PR spent the morning at WoodGreen Community Services, preparing lunch for its clients. WoodGreen is a leading community services organization meeting the “UNMET” needs of Toronto residents for over 85 years. 

Each year, WoodGreen helps 37,000 Toronto residents find stability and support. This organization works with members of the community who have struggled with addiction, homelessness, and their mental and physical wellbeing. Through integrated programs and services, they help clients regain stability. WoodGreen offers over 75 services, including housing programs, employment support, health and wellness assistance, to name a few. 

Our team took to WoodGreen’s Queen Street East location, preparing sandwiches, soup, salad, and snacks for its male residents aged over 55. It was a wonderful day spent supporting our community and contributing to Woodgreen’s important mission.
