Sapling Financial Consultants, a pioneering financial modelling and data analytics firm, announced today the appointment of Maria Cherkasova as senior engagement manager. She joins from a distinguished tenure as a senior management consultant with over 16 years of experience, including leadership roles at PwC in financial modelling and data analytics and at KPMG in management consulting. Since January, the firm has welcomed nine new hires to its Toronto office, each contributing valuable credentials to fortify the ranks.
The strategic hiring aligns with the rollout of a revamped website that includes a knowledge hub with original white papers and case studies, empowering the visitors with valuable insights. With these developments and services now on par with US competitors, Sapling Financial Consultants targets a blue-chip audience and anticipates a 55% annual expansion over the next three years.
Maria’s expertise spans performance improvement, restructuring projects, and financial modelling. In her previous roles, she led projects across manufacturing, mining, utilities, real estate, and finance sectors. She holds an MA in finance from Tomsk State University and is recognized for navigating complex business landscapes and driving sustainable growth strategies.
