Ahiri announces new F/W ’23 collection, dropping online on August 14
The brand steps into the fall season with a darker colour palette and day-to-night styles
TORONTO, ON, July 31, 2023 – On August 14, Toronto-based womenswear brand Ahiri is launching its second fall/winter collection online. Inspired by sensuality, masculinity and feeling like a celebrity, the F/W ‘23 collection consists of 32 items designed to seamlessly take wearers from day to night and transition between seasons. Departing from the playful pinks of the S/S ‘23 collection, fall/winter embraces moody hues of blue, black and navy, along with nude, beige and white. Statement knitwear, dresses and outerwear also take centre stage in this upcoming collection.
“This collection was designed to bring out the wearer’s inner it-girl. We’ve focused on the duality of our consumers’ style, creating looks that are smart yet casual, dressy yet comfortable and timeless yet on trend,” says Michael Jafine, head of design at Ahiri. “We drew inspiration from the vintage and thrift world of the 2000’s, dark academia and hyper modern futurism. All of these references were weaved together with a tailored approach to meet the desires of our community while continuing to push the envelope.”
F/W ‘23 is the third collection from the Canadian brand and marks a year of business for Ahiri. For this fall/winter season the brand carried forward signature silhouettes and premium materials seen in previous drops including plaids, cashmeres, and abstract print knits. Ahiri has also introduced lace to its offering with customized lace designs throughout the F/W ‘23 collection.
