Can you tell us a bit about how you got started as a content creator?
I kind of fell into it actually. I used to work as the social media manager for Pizzeria Libretto, which was my first foray into digital marketing. During the pandemic, I took a job freelancing for TasteToronto, where I was writing restaurant reviews and interviewing chefs all over the city. One thing led to another, and I started dabbling in content because I was being sent to so many cool events and restaurants around the city. By the Spring of 2023, I had accumulated a ton of contacts in the industry, and thought it was time to venture on my own and create content full time.

You’ve become a go-to for the best eats and newest spots in Toronto. Can you remember the moment you realized that creating food content was really your thing?
I think this was probably during my time at Taste. I loved being able to tell the incredible stories of chefs in our city, and thought it was so cool to see how my work could bring these local spots more business. It brought me so much joy and just felt correct.
The term ‘hidden gem’ gets thrown around a lot, especially when it comes to Toronto’s food scene. What’s a spot you’d say is a truly hidden gem?
I couldn’t agree more, and in a city like Toronto, it’s kind of hard to have an actual hidden gem, without getting too much attention. I’d say a spot that I think at least could use more attention is Casa Paco. Incredible Spanish food and an amazing natural wine selection in such a vibey intimate atmosphere.
How do you decide which places to feature?
This really depends. Often I’ll have restaurants reach out to me for coverage, but before I agree, I’ll do a little digging (check out their feed, see if other creators have already done a visit) and then I’ll decide whether to go in or not. Otherwise, I’m usually checking new Toronto restaurant lists on either Toronto Life or Foodism, to see what’s new and noteworthy in the city.
We’ve noticed you’ve been sharing some travel adventures recently. How do you balance exploring new places while keeping up with creating content?
Yes!! I’ve been so fortunate to have had the opportunity to travel a BUNCH this year, and I took that opportunity to create more travel content. Creating food content is obviously my first love, but why niche down? I’m a firm believer that if you create content in one vertical, you can create it in another, so I decided not to limit myself, and started weaving my travels as key pieces of content in my strategy. It’s helped to diversify my abilities, and keep things feeling fresh and exciting!

Your content blends humour, food and personality seamlessly. How do you keep your content fresh and engaging for your audience?
Honestly, I just make what I’d want to watch! I’m constantly eating out, joking around with my friends, or having funny little adventures in the city, so I try to capture that energy instead organically whenever I can. As an actor and comedian, it’s easy for me to let loose and be silly behind the camera, which is not always common for influencers. I find leaning into my personality, and finding humour in everything, really keeps the content engaging and real.
Are there any new projects or collaborations you’re excited about for 2026?
As for 2026, I plan on taking a pretty big trip early in the year, ideally to Asia and Australia, which will obviously mean a LOT more travel content. I’m also geared up to start creating a TV show concept, but whether it will be scripted or unscripted, I’m still ruminating. Needless to say, 2026 will certainly be a year of levelling up and seeing what else I can do with the tools I’ve been given.
